Simply, it was my dream from a young age. Sadly, only this year did I pursue it, I had a tragic loss of a close loved one and this event pushed me. Life is far too short to wait for your dreams. It’s much better to just go for it.
What inspires you to write?
Apart from everyday life, it was my father. He could barely read or write, and always had regrets about it. Before I could walk my parents had a book placed in my hands. So when it comes down to it, life inspires me. There are so many stories to be told and I want to tell them.
When did you find yourself taking your craft seriously?
Early in 2015, when I was writing Infinity: Legend, Love, Honor, I became obsessed with the story and everyday I was living it in my mind. It was that moment I realized how much I love it, and it is much better than what is on TV.
How many books have you written, and what are their titles? What literary projects are you working on today?
First was Infinity: Legend, Love, Honor, and second was Dead & Alive: Survive. I am working on the sequel to Infinity and Dead & Alive. I also have drafts for a new book called Dead Lands: The White Dragon and a book called Legends: Rise of the warrior.
Who is your favorite character from your book(s), and why?
Dead & Alive, the main character, Jack. He is selfless and willing to do whatever it takes to protect his people. I grew up in a hard place and know exactly what it is like to have to fight to get ahead. So I guess using a lot of my own personal traits in this character.

Honestly, not a clue, I have had some dreams, which works to be a book. I can lay back with some music and just imagine myself in a new world and create. I actually have a huge file full of ideas to get through.
Can you give us a picture of your writing journey, from the beginning to now?
Hectic. I live in the UK and most readers are in the US. I had trouble getting used to the different grammar and wording used. We both have different styles and I have had to change my style to suit my audience.

Young Adult, Zombie, Adventure, Apocalyptic . In the future, I would like to try my hand at crime and I have a few love stories I would love to create.
What has been your greatest accomplishment as a writer?
The creation of my group, Committed Writers and Authors Only. I love meeting so many new writers and readers, sharing war stories and just getting to make so many new friends.
Building my name. It is so hard for new authors to get known. We are battling against bigger names and bigger budgets. I don’t have dreams of being rich or famous, for me it is about my work being read.
How do you deal with writer's block?
Easy. Lights off, some soundtrack music like King Arthur or Titanic. I close my eyes and just let my mind wander off.
How do you handle marketing? What has worked?
I started with Facebook groups. I then created my own group and am now extending my hand to other social media outlets. My biggest asset is the friends I am making.
What hasn't worked for marketing?
Flooding groups with links to my books. All that happens is the link gets buried with all the others doing the same thing.
What's next for you?
The release of Infinity: Return of the Legends.
What do you want readers to know about you?
I work hard, and I love to interact with readers. From my rough upbringing, I was stereotyped to be a bad boy, when in truth I am a big teddy bear.
