I’m very excited to share the news I have with you today. We’re approaching the one-year anniversary of the Kingdom Saga, starting with Kingdom From Ashes, which released on May 2 of 2015. And boy, do I have major plans!

First things first. I want to tell you the thing I’m most thrilled about. I’ve decided to celebrate my saga by giving some of the sales to charity. A portion of my royalties from all four books in the series will be donated to furthering the education of girls and young women around the world. In the Kingdom Saga, Bennua continually fights against a society that oppresses women. She’s refused an education, and even forbidden to learn how to read. Stories like this aren’t just fantasy. Every year, thousands of girls aren’t allowed or don’t have the means to attend school. I intend to do something about it by gifting a portion of my royalties to organizations that help girls receive a full twelve years of education. Whenever you buy a Kingdom Saga book, you’re helping young women stay in school. I believe I am very blessed, and that God gave me a talent to write so I can help people. My job might be to create stories, but I want those stories to have an effective change and impact on the world around me. For me, that’s something that’s very important to do.
I also want to tell you that for the week of May 2 through May 7, Gryfyn Publishing is going to offer a full week of prizes to celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Kingdom Saga. Check back on the blog, my Facebook Page and my fantasy group, Sword and Shield, to learn more about the celebration and possibly sign-up to win some stuff!
Finally, I want to let everyone know that the first book in the saga, Kingdom From Ashes, is now free on all book retail sites in eBook format. If you haven’t gotten a chance to start the series, now here is your chance at absolutely no cost to you!
I’ve got A LOT coming up this year, including a brand new fantasy/dystopian series in the fall, which is having a cover release on April 12!!! I’m really passionate about this new series, so I can’t wait to tell you more about it as we get closer to the release date!
